These General Terms of the Marketplace regulate the purchase conditions for various products offered by external vendors through the Marketplace platform.

Definitions
- "Consumer"/"Customer": "Consumer" or "Customer" refers to any natural or legal person acting outside the scope of a business or professional activity. That is, they engage in consumer relationships for private purposes, purchasing goods and services offered by external vendors through the Marketplace without incorporating them, directly or indirectly, into production, marketing, or services for third parties.
- "Marketplace": A digital platform owned by Salamanca City Council, acting as an intermediary between Customers and Vendors, allowing Vendors to offer their products through the platform and Customers to purchase them.
- "Vendor": A natural or legal person who offers products for sale through the Marketplace platform, independently and autonomously determining: the price, the products for sale, sales conditions, cancellations, and post-sales procedures.
Purpose
Any sale of products by an external Vendor through the Marketplace will be governed by the Vendor’s general sales conditions and these terms.
Any order placed through the Marketplace necessarily implies full acceptance of these terms.
The contract for the sale of products sold through the Marketplace is exclusively between the Customer and the Vendor. The Vendor is solely responsible for sales and post-sales procedures for products sold on the Marketplace. Any complaint, suggestion, or request related to the sales contract should be addressed to the Vendor.

The Marketplace operates as a mere transmission platform through which Vendors can autonomously: upload their products, set prices, process sales, and handle post-sales operations. The Salamanca City Council’s position is entirely neutral and intermediary. However, if the Customer identifies unlawful activity or information published by Vendors, they may notify the Salamanca City Council.
The Customer must carefully read and accept the Marketplace's General Terms, as well as the Privacy Policy and other relevant documentation available on the website and app.
Price
The Vendor independently and autonomously sets prices in accordance with applicable regulations. Prices are expressed in euros and include VAT and any other applicable taxes, being current and legally applicable at the time.
The shipping service cost is borne by the Consumer based on the option chosen by the Consumer and offered by each Vendor.
The Salamanca City Council is not responsible for manifest errors in product pricing made by Vendors through the Marketplace. However, if the Customer becomes aware of an evident or typographical error, they can notify the Salamanca City Council to block or remove the content until corrected.
Shipping
Orders are processed and, if applicable, shipped directly by the Vendor. Additional shipping information can be requested from the Vendor.
Shipping times are set by the Vendor and are indicative.
Vendors are solely responsible for delivering products sold through the Marketplace. Salamanca City Council bears no responsibility or obligation concerning delays, damages, losses, or additional costs incurred during the shipping of products.
The Customer is solely responsible for delays or loss of the product due to missing or incorrect information provided when placing the order.
Right of Withdrawal
The conditions for withdrawing and/or returning an order are handled and agreed upon directly by the Vendor. Salamanca City Council bears no responsibility or obligation in this regard.
Payment Methods
The purchase of products through the Marketplace can be made using payment methods set by the Vendor, which may include credit/debit cards and/or cash.
Notification of Unlawful Content or Violations
Salamanca City Council commits to promptly removing any manifestly unlawful content upon becoming aware of it, without prejudice to any pertinent actions that may be taken. The Customer may report unlawful content and/or violations at any time.

All information regarding personal data processing is available in the Privacy Policy.
Applicable Legislation and Jurisdiction
These General Terms of the Marketplace are governed by Spanish common law. Disputes between the Vendor and the Customer will be submitted to the Spanish Courts and Tribunals territorially competent under applicable law.
